APPLICATION PROCESS AND GUIDELINES

Note that Passport processing days and time is from Monday to Wednesdays, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Passport issued are posted on Thursdays for applicants who provide a self-addressed envelope with stamps while pickup for registered self- addressed envelope by a courier service vendor is on Friday(s) 10:00am to 3:30pm.

GUIDELINES

1. Complete and print passport application form online, obtain Application ID and Reference Number.
2. Proceed to making payment. Print copy of acknowledgement and payment and slip.
3. Book an appointment for biometric enrolment and print the slip.
4. Print copy of administrative fee made to Embassy’s account for passport service(s) requested.
5. Proceed for enrolment on your scheduled date with all required document(s).

Requirements for Fresh Passport (under 18 years of age)

1. Copy of completed online passport application form by the authorized parent(s) or guardian.

2.  2 passport sized photographs of the minor to be endorsed on the reverse side by the consenting parent(s).

3. Copy of online acknowledgement slip and payment slip.

4. Evidence of Nigerian citizenship of parent(s) or grandparent(s).

5. Birth certificate (certificate must be issued by the National Population Commission for minors born in Nigeria). For person(s) NOT born in Nigeria, a copy of the birth certificate/population extract issued by the country of birth.

6. Letter of consent from either parent(s) or guardian(s).

7. Copy of payment of administrative fee paid to Embassy’s account.

8. Copy of appointment slip.
