MESSAGE ON E-PASSPORT DATA CAPTURING EXERCISE BY NIS INTERVENTION TEAM, IN JANUARY 2013.

This is to inform Nigerians who applied for the re-issuance of their passports during the 2013 January e-passport exercise that the embassy continues to make extensive contact with Officials of the Nigerian Immigration Services in an effort to have the 107 outstanding passports released. Information reaching the Embassy indicates that the passports are scheduled to be produced and released by end of May, 2013.

Those individuals who applied for passports during the exercise are advised to contact the Embassy for collection at the end of May, 2013.

Meanwhile, those Nigerians with urgent issues are advised to contact the Embassy immediately.

The Embassy regrets the inconveniences created.
